The Carbohydrate Addict Diet Book Review- Low Carb Diet

I love carbs!  I am addicted to carbohydrates.  Sounds like a group confession.  Anyways I thought because I like to eat carbs that I might benefit from this Carbohydrate Addict Diet.  I had tried this diet for about 3 days a long time ago and thought maybe I didn't do it right and would give it another go.

The last time I tried The Carbohydrate Addict Diet I read all the authors warnings against people with low blood sugar not using this diet.  I have always thought that I may have low blood sugar, but it has never been doctor confirmed.  Well during the first run years ago I tried it for three days and got massive headaches and thought it wasn't worth the pain.

Well desperate times call for desperate measures.  I thought I would try the diet again - regardless of the headaches that may come.  Besides that is why we have Advil and Tylenol for right.  The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet:  The Lifelong Solution to Yo-Yo Dieting written by Dr. Rachael F. Heller and Dr. Richard F. Heller.  Written by two doctors so how could you go wrong?

I love the concept behind the diet.  Eat 2 low carb diet meals and then get a reward meal.  What a reward meal, for one week I had dessert with dinner every night.  Then I had a weigh in and I did not lose a pound.  Very disappointing.  My husband did the diet with me and lost 8 pounds in a week on this diet.  So how could I not lose anything?  I am confused, I followed the diet and did not cheat, and didn't lose any weight.  I feel like I lost a week on this diet.  There are other Diets I know that I could have used and at least lost 1 to 2 pounds in a week on them.

So I guess I am on to the next fad diet or some dieting book not sure what it will be - but the search continues.
