Exercise is important to weight loss.
Others will disagree but I know for a fact that it can make a difference. I have lost weight with exercise and lost that same weight without exercise. I still lost the weight without exercising but I did not have the same energy after the time I didn't use exercise with my diet. Not only did I not have much energy, my body looks fatter and my stomach is flabbier.
So now I need to find an exercise that I can do that I will keep up. Right now I am being lazy and don't want to get on the treadmill, bike or do any exercise videos. So I came up with this "brilliant" plan to run up and down the stairs. Well I was going to add once more up and down the steps every day until I reach 100 because that seemed like a good number. Today I wanted to quit and I am only up to 5 times. I did it but when I was finished and felt like I was going to die and never wanted to go up the stairs again, I had a light bulb moment. Who said I have to run up the stairs, sure it would be much better for me, but if I give up after 5 days then it does me no good. So now I am just going to climb the stairs adding once more each day, only not running, it will be walking or at a jogging pace.
Well I don't know if it will work or not, but I know I have to do something. So I will see how long this lasts. Because I need to feel better about my self and look more toned and in shape.
